Review by DAVID BRUCE Host of HollywoodJesus.com This 2001 film is being re-released due to the success of The Passion of the Christ staring James Caviezel. Madison has the look and feel of a made-for-television movie. It is a "family type" film. It is a true story (read the synopsis for more details) about the power of determination, drive and ambition. The story examines the relationship between family, carrier and dreams. In life, these often there collide and priorities get mixed. What this story does is show how all there can come together in a harmonious manner. The key ingredient here is community. As the dream is shared in the context of family and friends, it becomes clear that the real priority is not the dream, family nor one's carrier. But rather a supportive community relationship that values each other. The Kingdom of God operates like this! The prioity is always a supportive loving community between friends. This is that kind of relationship that this film is all about.
